Where do we begin?

What marks the start of any new adventure? Is it the first step? Is it a single leap of faith? And what do we leave behind us when the future calls? Who are we after all? Are we where we live? Are we the rituals we conduct? Are we the special times we celebrate? Are we our hopes and desires? Are we what we choose to be and do, or are we shaped by accident and not purely of our own design? If we only see what we seek we can miss a perfect vista. It is our differences that make us unique and stronger. In embracing and nurturing all that makes us who we are and who others are to us maybe we will find ourselves on that road, the pathway in life we were searching for.

There are places where the invisible and visible come into view in the closest proximity possible. In those moments we are given a sense of clarity. From there we make the biggest decisions. Sometimes it feels like something is in control of our fates and our destinies. Outcomes you least needed or wanted can hit us like a bus. The THUD of reality dawns. We take a deep breath and hope we are making the best and the right choices. We only know as time moves gently forward what the outcomes will be.

Some sage advice gathered over time…
