Dewdrops and Teardrops

Like dew drops falling from trees without her will tear drops spilled. With pen in hand, her sword sheathed, she drew and breath and screamed, “NO MORE!” Her mind swimming in fear, yet she stood her ground. Was she able to maintain this level of strength against forces unseen? She remembered words of her elders,

“Destiny flows, like rivers and streams. Destiny is the force that causes the past to exert its influence on the present. Now go and live your dreams and let destiny lend you a hand.”
