Lend me your primal strength and the wisdom of your glowing eyes
Teach me to stand in defense of those I love
Show me the hidden paths and the moonlit fields
Fierce spirit, walk with me in solitude
Howl with me in joy
Guard me as I move through this world
Indebted I shall be.
Garm now howls loud before Looming-cave, the bond will break, and the ravenous one run; much lore she knows, I see further ahead, of the powers’ fate, implacable, of the victory-gods.

Time is calling for us to call to our wolf and let it lead us onward.
‘The Lay of Grimnir”
19. ‘Geri and Freki, the war-worn one [Óðinn] feeds,
that Host-father [Óðinn] famed of old;
but on wine alone, weapon-fine,
Óðinn ever lives.

This made very interesting reading and is very relevant at this point in time of our lives . This message should be heard loud and clear by people as it’s a message that our Ancestors would of heard and understood . The howl of the wolf is a call to our people to be strong like the wolf and to be protector of the family and their young .
Yes, you made some excellent points that I’m glad you recognised in this piece, especially the ‘”call” for strength and protection. We can learn much by watching nature and I believe modern societies distance from nature is limiting the collective understanding of how much we have lost that our ancestors would have just known to be a part of life. We see people “take a vacation” and go to nature which is beautiful but why has it become a novelty or out of reach for many?
Very good read
